10月17日,MCF(打工子弟基金会)的志愿者们顶着厚重的雾霾从沙河来到了通州一所小学。 来到学校,孩子们带着阳光的笑脸聚拢在志愿者周围,重度污染的天气、长途奔波的疲惫都在孩子们兴奋欢欣的盈盈笑语中渐渐消弭,大家纷纷打起精神全心投入到当天的教学活动。 当天教学的主要目标是让孩子们在轻松高效的课堂中学会以及巩固一些基本交流和表达。最开始由志愿者们向孩子们进行简单的自我介绍,并引导孩子们用How are you?(你好吗?)/What’s your name?(你的名字是什么?)/Which grade are you in?(你在哪个年级?)等常用语与志愿者进行交流。在志愿者做完示范后,孩子们被分成不同的小组以情景交流的方式加强对话练习。作为辅助工具,志愿者还向孩子们分发了纸笔和练习本,帮助他们及时记录,巩固记忆。在教学中志愿者们发现,孩子们对“How are you?”的回答普遍比较局限,于是志愿者们教授了各种表达情绪的单词以拓宽孩子们的思路,如bored(无聊的),exited(激动的),sad(悲伤的)等。孩子们对新单词有了基础理解之后,在志愿者们的鼓励下完成了作业单——-凭着记忆和理解给表达情绪的单词逐一画上对应的表情。这种巧妙而形象的学习方法让孩子们巩固了当天的学习成果。最后,志愿者们和孩子们一起复习了数字1到20的英文表达,在有趣的数字抢答游戏中结束了本次的教学。 活跃积极的孩子,热心的志愿者,热烈欢乐的课堂,两个小时的教学活动很快在欢乐的互动交流中结束了。分别时,孩子们灿烂的笑容,久久挥舞的双手让志愿者们充满不舍和期待。 Inspired and be inspired!
